Who didn’t love watching animations on TV as a child?
Here in the UK, we were lucky to have some fantastic cartoons grace our screens and, sadly, many of those we’d consider classics are no longer being produced.
We recently conducted a survey of 2,000 Brits and asked them to share the one kids animation or cartoon from their childhood which they’d most like to see rebooted.
The responses revealed the cartoons which we’d love to see back on our screens with regular new epidoes:
- The Flintstones (13%)
- Rugrats (9%)
- The Pink Panther Show (9%)
- Looney Tunes (6%)
- Popeye the Sailor (5%)
- Dexter’s Laboratory (4%)
- Thundercats (4%)
- SuperTed (4%)
- The Bugs Bunny Show (4%)
- Hey Arnold! (3%)
Others which came out strong included DuckTales, Recess, The Wild Thornberrys and Captain Caveman.
It’s official; Brits want to see The Flintstones rebooted and relaunched, closely followed by Rugrats, The Pink Panther Show, Looney Tunes and Popeye the Sailor.
Note: We excluded Tom & Jerry due to it’s upcoming movie reboot.
